Hey gang. Your much beloved Nashville Roller Girls will be introducing their newest team……the X Pistols. Come see if the new team can survive the Assault Rivals still riding high from their narrow victory over the Damsels of Distress. Doors will open 6 and the bout will start at 7. Bring your $15 and get ready for some sweet roller action.
Hey all. I’m working on some fun stuff right now but nothing will show of it for another month or so. I can assure you that, according to my close friends and family, it will be a fun collection of late summer tunes for all your August cookouts. Until then let me give you what Nashville is supposed to sound like. Here is a nice cover track by The Picketts.
Just a quick update about the NRG event on May 17th. It seems for some reason ROSI had to bail on our girls. I have my theories of reasons for the cancellation, but since I don’t know them…I’ll cut them some slack.
But have no fear, kiddies. You will still see a great bout. Our heroes will now face of with the girls from the Atlanta B-Funk Allstars. The thrist for a win is not gone and bloodlust is continuing to grow. So, remember to get your tickets early and show up early to make sure you get seats for the battle of I-24. We need you there to cheer on our girls as they go through the B-Funk Allstars like Sherman through Atlanta streets.
Well, kids, after attending a close and very disappointing loss on the road with NRG. I have decided it is time to rise up! No longer can we sit and watch the good PBR soaked name of Nashville be sullied. We must show Military-like support for our girls. The next home bout is May 17th vs ROSI (Rollergirls of Southern Indiana). I challenge all to attend and be the loudest crowd yet to grace the Rollergirl Sports Arena. I want to see noise makers, chant sheets, drums, signs, t-shirts, human sacrifice, whatever it takes to make the ROSI girls shit themselves. Let’s have a team beg for mercy before the bout.
So let em ask you……What do you want Music City?!?
Hey all. Just a quick reminder to let everyone know about this Saturday. My beloved Nashville Rhythm & Bruisers will be taking on the Hard Knox Rollergirls (Knoxville) this Saturday at 7:00. The bout should be a good one; an in-state rival, last year our heroes (NRG) had a dramatic come from behind victory. So, bring your beads and bloodthirst. I will be spinning the tunes from beginning to end.
Hope see you there.Tickets are $15 at the door. The doors open at 6:00 (and you will need to get there early to get a good seat).
Well, people. 2007 came and went. The parties were rocked, friends were made, and I was tired. I’ve laid low through January to play with some new sounds and write some new songs. Now, I am preparing for re-entry back into the hustle. Let me tell you what I am hoping to accomplish in 2008 (so you can feel free to help).
Record original Moford Drusky tunes
Record another Moford Drusky cover EP
Record with Don Juan Triumphant
Rock every home NRG bout to full tilt
Rock some house parties and local events
Continue living life with my great friends and family
Most of you know of my drunken country alter-ego, Moford Drusky. Well, last year Moford did a Xmas EP called “From Moford With Love”. I had every intension to record a new one this year, but life and scheduling just made it a bit harder than expected. So, Moford is taking Xmas off. However, Mr.Drusky has wrote several songs over the past year that few have heard. So after first of the year, I’ll be going in to cut some rough acoustic demos of the songs and let them sneak out. So know that Moford loves all of you.
Here is last year’s EP, again.

Hello all. Let me give you a quick rundown of events and happenings.
First, I have confirmed the November 10th Nashville Roller Girl bout. It’s such a fun time for all. The last bout was exciting and a blast. I’m thinking about pulling out the Rocky theme for ‘Rambo Sambo’ and her fisticuffs.
Next, the label, Thrift Store Records, has finally started selling our first full-length record, “Film” by Nashville-artist Nathan Jey. Stuff is slow, but the site and and new stuff is coming together. You’ll be able to buy from the TSR site and iTunes very soon.
Then, my Nashville alter-ego ‘Moford Drusky’ will be recording his Xmas EP again this year in the next weeks. This year Moford and Nathan Jey will be doing some old-time religion hymns. Just a nod to this buckle where we live. If you’re the religious sort, then you’ll know them. If you’re not the religious sort, then you should know them if only for Southern culture-sake.
Finally, the weather is turning cooler. Which is a beautiful thing for guys that walk everywhere like myself. Check out this new mash for the cooler strolls by synchronoize. Peter, Bjorn John meets Coldplay. Also, I am preparing my holiday schedule, so please contact me soon if you’d like to inquire about my services for a party or event.
